Yesterday we highlighted some of the most exciting eats at tonight’s meat-focused Live Fire event, which promises to be full of “beef supremacy and flame mastery.” But after 10 or so plates of savory, you’ll need to balance with something sweet.
Enter Swift’s Attic’s Callie Speers, who, among a few other pastry chefs, will be tickling your sweet tooth. She’s making a banana cream pudding with malted chocolate stout, hazelnut beer brittle and banana bubbles.
“We carry an awesome chocolate porter that I wanted to incorporate,” she told us. But the real reason? “At the restaurant they call me ‘bitch puddin,’” the feisty chef admitted, “and I’ve been wanting to make something with banana that we can call that.”
